Parkmore Nursery School

Parkmore Nursery School is an independent nursery school in Sandton, Johannesburg. Children from 2 to 5 years are welcome at Parkmore Nursery School.

OUR OBJECTIVE

Parkmore Nursery School provides a comprehensive pre-school education for young children in a friendly and caring environment. Each child is a unique individual and will be guided in their physical, emotional, intellectual and social development.

THE HISTORY OF PARKMORE NURSERY SCHOOL

In March 1961, Parkmore Nursery School was officially opened. It is a purpose built building situated on a double stand between 8th and 9th street Parkmore.
Parkmore Nursery School is a NON PROFIT COMPANY (NPC).
Over the years, the school has expanded considerably with alterations and improvements being made on a regular basis in order to satisfy the needs of the approximately 80 learners.

ISASA MEMBER

The school is registered with ISASA, the Gauteng Educational Department and the Department of Social Welfare and follows the ISASA terms calendar.
The Independent Schools Association of Southern Arica, ISASA, is the largest association of independent schools in South Africa and the Southern African region. Independent schools are also known as private schools.

The Programme

The programme is structured to include creative activities, gross motor development, fine motor development, language, music, pre-reading, pre-mathematics and life skills.
